The Cowboys head into the season opener after making a major offseason move - trading star LB Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers. Without one of the few bright spots from last season’s defence, Dallas will lean heavily on the connection between QB Dak Prescott and WR CeeDee Lamb to generate opportunities and challenge the reigning champs.
The Eagles begin their title defence at home after winning the Super Bowl earlier this year. Philadelphia retained most of its core roster and boasts one of the league’s most explosive offences, led by QB Jalen Hurts, RB Saquon Barkley, and the dynamic wide receiver duo of A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. With the Cowboys missing their top defensive playmaker, the Eagles’ offence will look to capitalise and start their season on a strong note.
