Florida holds a 3–2 series lead after taking Game 5 on the road, 5–2. Brad Marchand scored twice, extending his Final total to six goals and Sergei Bobrovsky made 19 key saves. Edmonton managed two late goals by Connor McDavid and Corey Perry, but couldn’t recover their power play, going 0-for-3.
All eyes now turn to Game 6. Florida will be looking to win it all in this game on home ice, while Edmonton faces elimination and must do everything in their power to force a decisive Game 7.
